Two CLA professors—Kathryn Sikkink and Robin Stryker—have received this award because of their distinguished achievement in the past and exceptional promise for future accomplishment.
2007 New Regents' Professors
Richard Leppert (Morse Alumni Distinguished Teacher and Professor, Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature), Elaine Tyler May (Professor, American Studies and History), and Matt McGue (Professor, Psychology) have been named Regents Professors by the university’s Board of Regents.
2007 American Psychological Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award
Irving I. Gottesman, Ph.D., Bernstein Professor in Adult Psychiatry in the University of Minnesota Medical School and senior fellow in the department of psychology, has been awarded the 2007 American Psychological Foundation (APF) Gold Medal Award for Life Achievement in the Science of Psychology.
