How did your student experience with CLA shape you as a person and/or professional?

I was shy; I acquired confidence. I joined Newman Choir and acquired lifelong friends.

Why did you become involved with the CLA Alumni Society?

I actually put the connection "on hold" while raising five children. Thirty years later, I was invited to be a member of a "grassroots" committee to reactivate the San Diego Chapter. Back in the Twin Cities now, I see the importance of maintaining long-term encouragement and support for the growth of CLA and the University for future generations.
