The Mission of the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts Alumni Society is to create and sustain a network of relationships for the College of Liberal Arts, University of Minnesota, University of Minnesota Alumni Association, and University of Minnesota Foundation. This network of relationships is dynamic and creates value in its ability to unite students, faculty, friends, and alumni.
The Purpose of the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts Alumni Society is to:
- Support the education, research and service functions of the College of Liberal Arts and within the community of interests that the University of Minnesota serves.
- Stimulate the continued interest in, and promote the image of, the College of Liberal Arts to students, graduates, and former students in the College of Liberal Arts and University of Minnesota.
- Provide an opportunity for alumni to participate actively, as appropriate, in the affairs of the College of Liberal Arts and the University of Minnesota.
- Encourage lifetime study of the liberal arts and sciences.
- Generate interest in and respect for scholarship.
