Current occupation: Human resources consultant and full-time mom!

Previous occupation: HR manager

Favorite U of M or near-campus landmarks: Outside on the mall. Do they still sell brats in the spring and fall? I used to love that!

Favorite CLA class: There are so many I could choose! I really enjoyed an upper-level journalism class called Magazine Production. As a class, we produced an entire magazine from concept to final product. It was a great culmination of everyone's J-school expertise.

How did your student experience with CLA shape you as a person and/or professional?

In every job I've held since college, I’ve always used the writing, research, and critical thinking skills that I honed in the journalism school. And, I became a very resourceful person during my time in CLA.

Why did you become involved with the CLA Alumni Society?

I love the energy of being at the U. I wanted to have a connection to CLA and give back in any way I could.
