Requests for Funding for Brain Imaging Projects

Purpose

The purpose for funding is to provide CLA faculty members working in research areas related to brain imaging an opportunity to fund pilot projects with seed grants.

Eligibility

Regular tenure-track or tenured CLA faculty subject to approval and endorsement of the unit chair/director.

Examples of types of funding requests

• Subject Fees
• Pilot projects
• Graduate RA support
• Equipment, materials, supplies

Applications

Applications are due to the CLA Office of Research by May 23, 2008. Faculty will be notified about decisions by June 6, 2008.

Reporting

• Faculty are required to submit a report on the use of awarded funds by May 1, 2009 to Jennifer Reckner at reckn001@umn.edu.
