Grants consultants are available to assist faculty in identifying prospective internal and external grant opportunities, develop proposals, and submit applications. IDEA Grants Program: Innovation, Diversity, Equity, and Achievement
Established by the Office of the Vice President and Vice Provost for Equity and Diversity, the University of Minnesota IDEA (Innovation, Diversity, Equity, and Achievement) Grants Program seeks to infuse equity and diversity into every aspect of the University’s work and operations by funding creative yet pragmatic proposals for projects that address issues of institutional equity and diversity.
The quarterly deadlines for applications are December 31, March 31, June 30 and September 30.
June 18th, 2008Mellon Foundation - New Directions Fellowships
The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has invited the U of MN to submit two nominations for their New Directions Fellowships which assists faculty members in the humanities and humanistic sciences who were awarded doctorates between five and fifteen years ago. Preliminary proposals must be submitted to the Graduate School's Research Support Services for internal review by Wednesday, August 13, 2008.

In addition to RCR Parts 1 and 2, faculty are required to complete an RCR Continuing Education activity one year after completing the core curriculum, every three years thereafter.
