CLA NOW -- August 29, 2007
Urgent Information for Payroll Contacts
The CLA Payroll office strongly recommends that you attend one of the special sessions on Advanced Job Data & Pay Entry being offered by Training Services. It is an excellent course and you will find it extremely helpful whether you are a beginner or have been doing payroll for years.
The majority of the University’s overpayments in 2006 resulted from Job Data or Pay Entry errors. Instructors of this session will provide a detailed overview of the most common earnings and action/reason codes errors, including augmentations, leaves, terminations, and non-recurring lump sums. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore case study scenarios discussing these common issues. The session will also discuss common pay entry errors, how to resolve errors and overpayments, and a review of the required HR forms, laws, and reports.
The sessions remaining are listed below:
Friday, August 31, 2007
8:30 - 11:00 A.M.
Monday, September 10, 2007
8:30-11:00 A.M.
Please visit Training Services for registration.
If you have any questions about the course, you can call Toni Ziegler at 612-624-4153.
