We wanted to give financial system users, who were unable to attend one or more of the recent EFS Sneak Peeks presentations, an opportunity to view them at one of the following open sessions in a group setting with others from CLA:

Cluster Update and Financial Service Team Recommendations Open Sessions:
The team is also holding open sessions to all interested parties for, in part, a follow-up to the July discussions surrounding financial processes. We would like to share with you what we propose to be final clustered and non-clustered activities. In addition, we would like to use these sessions to share with you service team recommendations, including number of service teams, unit groupings within the service teams, dealing with departmental designated financial activities, etc.

IRIS Entry Deadline
The summer session 2007 IRIS entry deadline is Monday, August 20th. Please make sure to update data for both May session (intersession in IRIS) and Summer session courses, and to review your Outstanding Issues report. Position Management:
Position Management conversion was completed last week. CLA HR and Fiscal Administration are working on the next steps and data cleanup. Please watch for further information on new requirements related to Position Management. Due to new PeopleAdmin requirements related to Position Management, there may be slight delays in posting new requisitions in the PeopleAdmin system.

Statements for FY07 Period 4 are now available at https://ecrt.eresearch.umn.edu/
The Due Date for this Effort Period is Friday, August 24, 2007, to compensate for the change in the statement availability date.
