College of Liberal Arts Resources
The College of Liberal Arts administers the successful CLA Graduate Research Partnership Program, a summer research fellowship program that has helped kick-start early research for numerous graduate students. The college also provides departments with earmarked funds for graduate student conference travel and dissertation research expenses, and gives financial support for CLA graduate programs' recruitment efforts.
The college also pays tuition benefits for graduate student instructors who hold summer appointments if they need to take a relevant course during the summer months.
CLA's Faculty Grants Support Team compiles a comprehensive list of external funding sources, fellowships, and post-doctoral awards for faculty that is useful for students seeking external funding.
